VA Contracting Officer Academy

This is a very short notice but phenomenal opportunity.  The VA is trying to fill six slots by Wednesday October 26th.

The Veterans Adminstration has established an "Acquisition Academy".  This is a three year paid internship to become an 1102/ Contracting Officer. 

The program will help you get 24 business school college credits and all the schooling for a FAC-C level 2 certification.  This is an opportunity to secure a great career in the federal government with even greater potential in the civilian sector.

Basic eligibility:
  • Must be an Iraq or Afghanistan veteran
  • 30% or greater disability rating
  • High school diploma
  • Motivated and intelligent
The course is conducted in Frederick, MD.  Subsequent assignments could be anyplace.
