Swamp Fox Ranger Ride - May 19, 2012 - South Carolina

Swap Fox Ranger Ride rolls into South Carolina

Charleston, SC – Celebrate Armed Forces Day and honor those who served by participating in the Swap Fox Ranger Ride.  This bicycling event is a 25/45/75 mile road ride through the Francis Marion National Forest in South Carolina.  The purpose of holding the ride is to have fun, test yourself, and raise money and awareness for GallantFew!

Saturday, May 19th, 2012- Three iterations ride through the Francis Marion National Forest for the 25/45/75 mile rides.  Pre-ride packet pick up will be Friday, May 18th, 2012 at the Trek Store of Mount Pleasant.  Event day registration begins at 0700 (7AM) EDT (-4 Zulu) - @ Awendaw Green, Mount Pleasant, SC.  Event Map

Registration information-  here on active.com.  Live entertainment will be provided by Awendaw Green.  WCBD News 2 Chief Meteorologist Rob Fowler emcees the awards ceremony at race conclusion. The first ten registrants will receive a custom cycling jersey.  One custom jersey will be raffled off after the ride!

The race is named after General Francis Marion, one of the fathers of modern guerilla warfare and affectionately known as the "Swamp Fox".  His legendary exploits inspired the movie "The Patriot"

Three Alabama Job Fairs in April - Veterans!

3 Job Fairs will be at the following locations this month:


Mobile, AL at the Mobile Civic Center Expo on THURS 19 April from 9:00 until
4:00.

Birmingham, AL at the Crossplex (Harris Arena), 2331 Bessemer Road on TUES 24
April from 1:00 until 4:00.

Montgomery, AL at FT Taylor Hardin Armory on Eastern Bypass on THUR 26 April
from 12:30 until 3:30.


Please ask your Military personnel to bring several copies of their Resumes
with them if they plan on attending any of these Job Fairs.  AL National
Guard members and spouses, Reservist and Spouses as well as Veterans and
Spouses that are seeking employment are encouraged to attend.  The above
attachment list the Career Centers across Alabama that can help write or
update Resumes. Please post this list on the Unit Bulletin Board and make
copies for those who need this information!! Also, we will have the Career
Centers Mobile Van with Career Counselors available at Birmingham and
Montgomery at 9:00 on the day of the Job Fair to assist with Resumes!!

YOUR PROFILE:
¶    An undergraduate degree with demonstrated academic excellence
¶    At least 2-3 years relevant experience in the Consumer Electronics industry (for instance, with a handset vendor, mobile app / OS / search provider, TV vendor, tablet vendor, PC vendor, distributor or retailer of the same), with an understanding of industry dynamics and key players. In addition, knowledge on industry specific knowledge sources and databases is an asset.

YOUR TEAM:
¶    You will be located in Waltham with two TMT Research colleagues and a large team of other industry and functional analysts and experts. The Global Consumer Electronics Service Line consists of 10 analysts in total, covering Europe and Asia as well as the Americas
¶    The Consumer Electronics team is a subset of our global Telecom, Media and High Tech (TMT) team, which includes 70+ people across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.  You will work closely with the other Consumer Electronics team members on a daily basis, and will have regular interactions with consultants across the globe. In addition you will also participate in TMT activities (e.g. quarterly research team calls) and collaborate with researchers in related sectors (e.g. mobile telecom, semiconductors, media) as needed
